WHO WE ARE

Originally merged with the Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, the Lectors and Commentators Guild (LCG) became a parish organization in 1993, under the Worship Ministry. The LCG is a group of members who read, proclaim, and live the Word of God, in the Holy Mass and the Celebration of the Sacraments.

MEET UPS

The group regularly holds its monthly meetings every First Friday of the Month at 7:00 PM, with formation given by the Parish Priest, followed by the Eucharistic Adoration from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The group regularly attends the annual on-going formation seminars (half-day) of the Archdiocesan Liturgical Commission Manila. The LCG also holds its own recollections and retreats.

For new members, the screening procedures are as follows:

  1. Filling out of the application form (click the given link or get a copy from the Parish Office during office hours)

    1. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and must have received the sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation (please prepare a photocopy of your Baptism and Confirmation certificate)

    2. For those married, a copy of the Marriage Certificate is also required.

    3. For those coming from other parishes, an endorsement from the Parish Priest/Rector, especially for those who have already served in another Parish.

  3. Interview with the Parish Priest

  4. Attendance to the Basic Formation Seminar of the Archdiocese of Manila.
